Location
Located just 30 km south of Mombasa, our charming holiday retreat—lovingly established in 2011—welcomes you in the heart of Diani Beach.
Only about 400 metres separate you from the soft, powder-white sands of the beach, consistently ranked among Africa’s most beautiful since 2014. Here, the warm waters of the Indian Ocean invite you to swim, unwind, and soak up the coastal atmosphere, while nearby beach bars offer the perfect spot to relax with a refreshing drink.
Within a 500-metre radius, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including supermarkets, shopping centres, doctors, pharmacies, a variety of restaurants, as well as bars and nightlife venues. For your peace of mind, two hospitals are also located close by.
We are also happy to organise special occasions of all kinds—from weddings to birthday celebrations. In addition, our in-house travel partner, African Dream Safaris, will gladly create tailor-made safaris and excursions to help you experience the very best of Kenya.
The Cottages
Set within a spacious 6,000 m² tropical property, our holiday retreat in Diani Beach offers a total of 21 thoughtfully designed accommodation units to suit different travel styles.
Our selection includes 12 studio cottages, two triple-occupancy units, and two superior cottages spread over two levels—each featuring a kitchenette and private bathroom. Recently added are a cosy cottage for two with a separate living and sleeping area, kitchen, and bathroom, as well as four spacious family cottages for four respectively six guests with a kitchen, living and dining area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The new units also come with air conditioning in the bedrooms for added comfort.
At the heart of the property lies our inviting swimming pool, the perfect place to cool off and unwind. Surrounding it is our lush tropical garden—a true highlight that delights with vibrant colours and a peaceful atmosphere.
For your convenience, we also offer a well-stocked bar and a restaurant serving both local and international cuisine. Additional amenities include a massage room for relaxation and a secure on-site parking area.
A special part of our cottage family are our friendly resident cats, who roam freely around the property and love interacting with our guests. Many visitors truly enjoy the added charm—and cuddly moments—these affectionate companions bring to their stay.
La Kitchuna Bar & Restaurant
The La Kichuna Restaurant, overlooking the pool area, welcomes you with a truly authentic African atmosphere. Beneath its impressive makuti (palm-thatch) roof, you’ll find our reception, lobby, dining area, and a well-stocked bar—all thoughtfully brought together in one inviting space.
Our menu features a wide selection of traditional dishes alongside international cuisine, as well as light bites for a quick snack in between.

- Lunch & Dinner (hot meals): 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Please note that all our meals are freshly prepared, which may take a little time. To make your evening as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we’re happy to take advance dinner orders during the day and reduce your waiting time. Last orders are taken at 8:00 PM.
